"I have been involved in pageants for many years, and now want to help and guide other girls to be their best by giving back all my knowledge and skills which I have learnt. Beauty Pageants are extremely fun and an experience which you can grow from. Providing pageant tuition to girls can help hopefuls get even more from every competition they enter, whilst at the same time increase their chances of winning," – Grace Levy.

Grace shared her expectations from the winner of Miss Universe Great Britain 2016, and what are the qualities that the winner must possess...

A head turner. MUGB needs to be able to walk into a room without having to say a word, and cast a presence of awe and wonder. This is not just simply how she looks, but the aura that she exudes wherever she goes and whoever she exchanges conversation with.

Passionate. I strongly believe passion can go a long way. Being passionate about something, whether it be personal or more general gives purpose, and having purpose gives greater claim to the crown. The MUGB title is also an honourable platform from which to speak and inspire; if MUGB doesn’t have passions I personally feel it would be a wasted crown.

Dedicated. MUGB must lend herself to the Miss Universe pageant system as soon as she becomes a finalist. She must realise the length of the road ahead of her, and know that if she focuses and makes necessary change that she can succeed and achieve anything she wants to. MUGB can win Miss Universe, and the right candidate will know that having dedication from day 1 will get her there.

And finally

Confidence. Not to be confused with arrogance. MUGB needs to embrace herself and her individuality, and celebrate everything that makes her unique. When she has done this she can be ‘confidently beautiful’ and be able to present herself on stage in the best light. If MUGB does not know who she is inside, she may find it difficult to project energy and stage presence, and may struggle to see her worth among a sea of other contestants. Someone who celebrates themselves for who they are and what they represent can deliver without doubt, and this is an essential requirement when walking in a swimsuit, on your own, on the Miss Universe stage.”

We hope the Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 is someone who owns all the above traits. Who do you think will win the crown this year??
