Twenty-two years old diva, Giada Pezzaioli, born in Montichiari, will represent Italy at the most glamorous and buzzed pageant of the world, Miss Universe 2015, scheduled to be held on December 20th in Las Vegas, USA. She succeeds Valentina Bonariva, who was a Top 15 semi-finalist at Miss Universe 2014.  Despite of several semi-finalists and runner ups, Italy has not yet produced a Miss Universe.

The young model living in Salento in the province of Lecce, Giada, in addition to being an entrepreneur specialized in organizing events and training courses for aspiring models, is dedicated to higher education in foreign languages ??and literature. Standing 1 meter high and 80 cm tall, with emerald like green eyes, Giada is a very determined girl, with a strong attachment to her family.

Giada’s win comes as pleasant news, since she is a renowned face to pageant enthusiasts. Having represented Italy at Miss World 2010 wherein she was one of the Top 7 finalists, Giada is certainly a strong move by Italy. In addition to having a perfect body worthy of the best top models, the newly crowned beauty is fluent in English, French and Chinese, the latter choice because of passion for oriental culture that likes to delve even outside of her school studies.

When asked of her most beautiful feature, Giada beamingly responded: "The eyes. I think I have a visual communication that can be very effective.” When inquired about the crowning moment, Giada excitingly opined: "I was agitated, I could not think. In those moments you plot and you cannot think of anything. I just hoped that everything will end quickly and the best." The confident queen added: "It 'a challenge to myself. I do not consider this world a challenge with the other, but only with myself. It is a goal I want to achieve.”

Despite of sending gorgeous ladies to the pageant, Italy is surprisingly still without a Miss Universe crown. The last time when Italy came close to clinch the crown was in 1960, with Daniela Bianchi wearing the sash of Italy, who eventually finished as first runner-up at Miss Universe 1960. The feat was repeated in 1987 when Roberta Capua finished second to Chile’s Cecilia Bolocco. After Valentina Bonariva’s remarkable entry in Top 15 semi-finalist, do you think the very gorgeous Giada Pezzaioli will write a new history for Italy?
