This year Korea started its new pageant to choose representatives for the Miss Universe pageant. Every year Miss Korea sent an ambassador to the Big 4 pageants, but this year, Korea has started a new national pageant, Miss Universe Korea, to send its delegates to Miss Universe. Cho Se-Hui was crowned at the first Miss Universe Korea 2016 pageant held on 23rd October, 2016.

Cho Se-Hui excelled in her quest for the Miss Universe Korea crown and left all other contestants behind, to be titled the first winner of the newly started Miss Universe Korea pageant. Her charming looks, strong determination, gorgeous features, and remarkable wits got her the coveted title at the coronation event held in Korea. Although she is not very tall, she has everything it takes to bring her country the honour and fame.

Miss Universe Korea 2016, Cho Se-Hui, will represent her country at the 2017 Miss Universe contest, while Miss Korea 2015 will represent the country at the 2016 Miss Universe beauty pageant, scheduled to be held in January 2017.
