The reigning Miss World was in Barcelona recently to attend the regional finals of Catalonia for Miss World Spain. Catalonia regional finale was the first step of Mireia towards the coveted crown of Miss World 2015.

Miss World 2015 Mireia Lalaguna attends the finals of Barcelona pageant
The regional finale was held at the Luz de Gas nightclub and Mireia was invited as a special guest at the event. The regional finale had four provincial titles in queue - Girona, Tarragona, Lleida and Mireia’s home territory Barcelona. The contest honoured the reigning Miss World by inviting her on stage and playing a highlight reel of her journey to the Miss World title.

Mireia was also one of the judges for the finale and graced the jury panel to help decide the winner. At the same event, Carla Hernández was crowned Miss World Barcelona and will now represent Barcelona at the Miss World Spain 2016 pageant.
“It was a very strange feeling to be returning to my first title on my journey to Miss World, but nice. I wanted to be there to show everyone what could happen if you work hard and believe in yourself. Who knows where the winners of Monday night’s show can go? You have to dream big to achieve big.”, shared Mireia after the finale.
