It’s been almost a month since Puerto Rican beauty Stephanie Del Valle was crowned as the Miss World 2016. Nothing much has been heard since then, however, the finale was a controversial one. The crowning of Stephanie Del Valle didn’t go well, when crowd’s favourite Catriona Gray couldn’t make it to the Top 3 of the pageant.

Stephanie reached Puerto Rico on 13th January 2017 and received a grand welcome at the airport. Stephanie also met the Honourable Governor Ricardo Rosello and First Lady Beatriz Rosello on her arrival. The meeting was then followed by a press conference at the airport with the Governor. It was a wonderful celebration organised by Puerto Rico to welcome her home and celebrate her national victory.

Stephanie will also be honoured with a spectacular street parade wherein the newly crowned Miss World will be presented to all the Puerto Ricans. The parade will have a stoppage at Miss World’s school in Sant Jones where a special welcome will be organised by the teachers and students. The parade will then finish at the ‘Window to the Sea’ where more celebrations will follow. Further, a gala reception at Centre de Recepciones will be organised in honour of Stephanie on Saturday night. She will have the chance to meet and thank her fans and followers who supported her in her journey to the Miss World title.

The celebration will continue till Sunday morning when Stephanie will meet the special Children’s choir that she has been working with on the steps to the Cathedral. Stephanie will also be shooting a cover shoot and will attend interviews with Imagen and El Nuevo, and will also make a visit to the Auxilio Mutuo Hospital.
