At the conclusion of the magnificent finale of Miss World China 2015 held on November 12’ 2015, Yuan Lu has been chosen as the winner. Yuan will now represent People’s Republic of China at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held in Sanya, China. 21 years old beauty from China, stands tall at an astounding height of 177 cm.

Yuan Lu succeeds Du Yang, who represented China at the Miss World 2014 pageant, however remained unplaced. Girls from People’s Republic of China have done exceptionally well in the Miss World pageant so far, especially when the pageant is held in China. Yuan is already being considered as one of the front runners for the pageant. In 2007, Miss World China Zhang Zilin was second runner-up in Beach Beauty and the winner of Top Model. Yu Wenxia won the title of Miss World in the year 2012.

At the same event, He Li was adjudged the first runner-up and Cao Qingqing was titled second runner-up. Although Yuan stands as one of the front runners, the competition at the Miss World is going to be tough. All pageant fans and followers would agree that this year’s pageant is one of the toughest in the recent years. Aditi Arya from India, Catherine Choi from Brazil, Victoria Mendoza from USA, Liesl Laurie from South Africa, are among the favourites for the title this year.
