The magnificent finale of Miss World Hungary 2016 concluded with the crowning of Tímea Gelencsér as the winner. Tímea succeeds Daniella Kiss and will now represent Hungary at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

23 years old Tímea has been the crowd’s favourite, since the time she entered the contest, and has managed to place in the Top 3in several preliminary competitions and events. She defeated 19 other equally stunning contestants to clinch the prestigious title of Miss World Hungary. At the same event, Eszter Oczella was adjudged the first runner-up and Babett Dukai was titled second runner-up. One of the runners-up will go on to compete at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant.
Ivett Szigligeti and Barbara Somossy made it to the Top 5 finalists. Bianka Dézsányi was awarded with the People’s Choice award. Hungary’s last placement at the Miss World was in the year 2014 when Edina Kulscar was adjudged first runner-up.
