The splendid finale of Miss Israel 2016 held on June 6’ 2016, concluded with the crowning of Karin Alia as the winner. Karin succeeds Miss Israel 2015 Maayan Keren, and will now represent Israel at the Miss World 2016 pageant.
She has been among the front runners for the crown since the beginning of the pageant. 18 years old Karin hailing from Kiryat Gat is a Senior Majoring Arts, where she is studying dance and communication. At the same event, Yam Kaspers Ashel was titled first runner-up and was crowned Miss Universe Israel 2016. Kaspers will now represent Israel at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.

Miss Israel (Malkat Hayofi Israel) is an annual national pageant in Israel that selects representatives of Israel for Miss Universe and Miss World international pageants. Miss Israel commenced in the year 1950. Currently, the winner of Miss Israel is crowned Miss World Israel and goes on to represent Israel at Miss World, while the first runner-up is crowned Miss Universe Israel and goes on to represent Israel at Miss Universe.
