The second segment of major international beauty pageants is on, and the national winners are working out in full swing to bring out their best at the pageant. The most significant of all the Big 4 pageants, the Miss World pageant, is scheduled to be held on 18th December 2016, and the contestants have already started moving to the destination that will change the fate of one of the beauties.
One such contestant is Catriona Gray of Philippines, who had her send off event yesterday at the C3 Events Place in Greenhills. The send off event was an intimate one. Catriona was seen interacting with the media and very elegantly answered all the questions. She will be travelling to the US on 24th November 2016. During the event, Catriona also promoted the scenic beauty of the Philippines. Describing her country, Catriona said, “We have so much to offer here in the Philippines, As a traveler, I really enjoyed going around to different sights, seeing different cultures, the festivals, especially the food. I think in that prospective, our tourism industry should not be left out in one’s bucket list.”

The Filipino-Australian beauty shared that she is very excited to meet the other contestants and also the Filipinos in the US. She shared that she is really looking forward for the moment, and when it happens she is going to be overwhelmed. Talking about her co-contestants, Catriona said that she is excited about meeting all the other girls and learn from them, as she believes that all of them are high caliber and empowered women.
Although the Pinoy charmer didn’t get much time to prepare for the Miss World pageant, Catriona has been undergoing intensive training under Aces and Queens. “It would have been nicer if I prepared longer. But it keeps me on my toes. I really pushed myself to give it all,” she said. Her plan is to show consistency in all the fast-track segments to insure her all-around visibility throughout the entire period of competition.
