Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray did not win the crown and this fact didn’t go well with the Pinoy fans. People from Philippines are disheartened and their disappointment is clearly visible through their social media posts. Catriona too was disappointed as she couldn’t make it to the Top 3, but the beauty is honoured to have represented her country in the international pageant.
Speaking to a renowned pageant website, OPMB, Catriona shared that she hopes she had made her fellow Filipinos proud. She said, “I really gave my all and I hope I made you guys proud. It was an honour to carry the Philippine flag on a world stage. Salamat.”

When asked what is going to be her next plan now that the pageant is over, she replied, “I don’t know, Christmas muna. Relax muna. Sleep muna, hibernate.”
The gala finale of Miss World 2016 concluded with the crowning of Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico. At the same pageant, Dominican Republic’s Yaritza Miguelina Reyes Ramirez was titled first runner-up, and Natasha Mannuela from Indonesia was adjudged the second runner-up. Catriona Gray and Evelyn Njambi of Kenya finished in the Top 5.
Catriona’s pageant industry friends made sure to cheer up the 22 year doll by posting motivational and supportive messages for the beauty.
