Miss Germany 2016 is on its road to the finale and is scheduled to be held on February 20’ 2016 at Europa Park in Rust South West Germany. Miss Germany 2015 Olga Hoffman will crown her successor at the end of the pageant finale. The winner of Miss Germany 2016 will represent Germany at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

There are a total of 24 contestants competing for the title this year. The 24 finalists of Miss Germany 2016 are - Elisabetha Sadykov, Janina Weschta, Susanne Mines, Katharina Schubert, Sophie Imelmann, Mandy Wieck, Sarah Boss, Schirin Strehlow, Lisa-Maria Rothenberg, Dana Wiebke Schafer, Sandra Pisarra, Corinna Faltermeier, Dalina Staszewski, Nina Kiehnle, Camilla Schenkel, Eva Naulin, Farina Behm, Francesca Orru, Olga Borher, Sina Marx, Vera Weimer, Dominika Starostik, Lena Broder and Elisa Nass.

The contestants have gone through a series of rigorous training over the last few weeks. Usually, the Miss Germany Organisation doesn’t send its delegate to any international pageant, but this year the pageant took over the franchise of Miss Earth, and hence, will be sending a delegate to the Miss Earth 2016 pageant. MGC used to send delegates to Miss World in 1960’s & 1980’s. The Miss Earth Franchise was recently awarded to Miss Germany Corporation. Miss Germany was established in 1960 under the leadership of Horst Klemmer. Miss Germany headquarter is located in Oldenburg.
