Jolly Mutesi was crowned Miss Rwanda 2016 on February 27' 2016 at the finale held at Camp Kigali. With Rwanda making a debut at the Miss World pageant this year, Jolly Mutesi will now represent Rwanda at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

19 years old Jolly Mutesi wants to focus on promoting domestic tourism, especially among the youth by leveraging the touristic heritage the country is gifted with. She has always been inclined towards various humanitarian work, and has been a part of various activities working towards spreading awareness among the youth regarding drug abuse.
Blessed with a beautiful face and a tall frame, Jolly Mutesi can reach great heights. Also, given her great social work, the beauty has great chances at the Miss World pageant. One of the smallest nations in mainland Africa, Rwanda is nestled in the centre of the continent, and is famous for its lush environment & epic gorilla safaris.
