Sara Skals Danielsen has been crowned as Miss International Denmark 2016 at the culmination of the gala night of Face of Denmark 2016 held on May 14’ 2016 in Copenhagen. Sara Danielsen will now represent Denmark at Miss International 2016 pageant to be held later this year.
Sara Skals Danielsen was crowned and sashed by her predecessor Miss International 2015, Mette Riis Sørensen of Copenhagen.
At the same event, Christina Mikkelsen from København (Copenhagen) was crowned as Face of Denmark 2016, and Sofie Klejnstrup Nielsen (Christianshavn) was crowned Miss Supranational Denmark 2016. The two winners will now represent Denmark in, Miss Universe 2016, Miss Supranational 2016 respectively.
Sara Danielsen, Miss Odense expressed her gratitude to all those who have supported her through the Face of Denmark competition! She further explained her happiness in her own words saying – “It means so much to me and I could not have done it without you and the great team behind Face of Denmark. Can not wait to come to Japan and represent Denmark in the Miss International contest, 1000 thanks to you all”.

The scintillating gala was attended by so many eminent personalities and the coveted panel of judges included the first Miss Earth winner from Denmark, Catharina Brink, Miss Denmark 1986 Pia Rosenberg (who placed second in Miss International 1986), and Miss Denmark 1963 Aino Korva (who placed second in Miss Universe 1963).
The 22 years old beauty queen Sara studied from UCL Little Belt nursing school in Odense and currently Lives in Odense, Denmark. Hailing from Veflinge, Funen, Denmark, the lady is determined enough to clinch the esteemed crown of Miss International 2016.
