At the conclusion of the Señorita Panamá Mundo 2016 finale held on 1st September 2016 at the Grand Ballroom of the Trump International Hotel in Panama City Alessandra Camila Bueno Fontaine was crowned as the winner. Alessandra succeeds Miss World Panama 2015 Diana Jaen Ortega, and will now represent Panama at the Miss World 2016 pageant.

24 years old Alessandra Camila stands tall at an astounding height of 177cm and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Double Degree in Economics and International Relations with the highest GPA in Social Sciences from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island, USA, actively participating in debate programs at the United Nations.
The newly crowned beauty queen has always had an inclination towards fashion and has been involved with the industry since a very young age. Alessandra has worked as a model and is fluent in Spanish, English and Portuguese.
Alessandra is the first representative elected under the new “Señorita Panamá” organization. At the same pageant, 21 years old Jhasmeiry Herrera Evans was adjudged the first runner-up and 25 years old Rita Silvestre was titled second runner-up.
