Miss South Africa 2016 is moving towards the finale with twelve contestants, and the finale will be televised live and simulcast on M-Net and Mzansi Magic. The winner will represent South Africa at both Miss Universe 2016 and Miss World 2016 pageants.

On February 12th 2016, Soviet Denim conducted a unique style of photoshoot with the 12 stunning finalists of Miss South Africa 2016. Soviet Denim is the official sponsor of Miss South Africa 2016. The brand created a colourful ambience for the finalists, wherein different shades of colours were used to create the magical photoshoot. The movements and poses of the finalists were shot at 200 frames per second (super slow-mo) and fine coloured powder (of their choice and uniqueness) was thrown at specific angels to create the perfect slow motion digital colour burst shot.
