Seems like the boiling Miss Universe controversies are not going to end soon. The most talked about pageant of the year, Miss Universe has yet again come in spotlight through Miss Universe India, Urvashi Rautela’s statement. Miss Universe India, Urvashi Rautela, who despite of being a hot favorite could not make the cut to semi-finals at Miss Universe 2015, earlier reportedly accused the organization’s decision claiming that the results were “biased”, has now issued an apology statement.
Albeit Urvashi Rautela said she did not regret losing the title, yet when she asked by the Indian print media why was she not in Top 15, she stated that there was a lot of diplomatic pressure on the judges to announce Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach as the winner as the next venue of the contest is rumored to be the Philippines. Urvashi also suspected that Miss Colombia knew that her name would be mistakenly mixed up with the winners' name.

Nonetheless, Urvashi has now issued an apology statement saying: “I have been misquoted and misunderstood about the Miss Universe 2015.” Clarifying her stance, the 20 years old diva added: “I’ve made some great friends and had a fabulous journey in Las Vegas. I had some lovely memories from this experience. If my statements or sentiments have caused concerns to anyone directly/indirectly, the inconvenience is regretted.”
Urvashi Rautela stated that it’s now time for her to focus on her career as her new Bollywood movie is slated to get released next month. Urvashi Rautela was crowned Miss Universe India 2012 but could not participate in Miss Universe 2012 because of being underage. Later she went on to win Miss Asian Supermodel and Miss Tourism Queen of the Year.
