Vielka Salazar was born in Juigalpa, Chontales. She is set to represent the beauty and intelligence of Chontales women. At the age of 22, she has got a degree in pharmacy.

She defines herself as an enterpreneur, a dreamer, a fighter, positive thinker, persistent and above all she loves her profession.

At a young age of 22, she is a businesswoman who is working in her own pharmacy (Mercy) located in the municipality of Tecolostote. Health is her priority, therefore she loves to share the knowledge she  acquired during her professional training, to people who need it the most.

Despite having her own business, she hopes to expand her knowledge and work in other fields as well, like veterinary medicines.  She also plans to take medical visit as a manager and owner of a pharmaceutical distributor, in order to work hard. She wants to establish an NGO that helps people in vulnerable conditions in her country.

“Not everything in life is easy” - says the girl, as she had to go through hard knocks along her life to be what she is now. She considers her family and God the fundamental pillars, as they have contributed in her principles, values ??(moral, spiritual).

She is very happy and proud to represent her country  in Miss World Nicaragua. She  would like to take this opportunity to show that women of Chontales have boliling blood, beauty and zeal to work as a socialite.

Vielka  considers this beauty contest as an excellent opportunity to support many needy people. Her main objective is to support people in remote areas by bringing medicines, clothes, shoes, and food. 

She has a medical team to promote health at national level. The beauty is convinced that this is her year and she has everything to become Miss World Nicaragua 2016.

The girl has utmost belief in this phrase: “Trust in God” everything else will follow.
