After an amazing opening year in 2016 when India got its place as the second runner up at the 9th annual international World Supermodel Pageant 2016 held in South Africa, the organisation is all set to find the next ambassador who has what it gets to grab the coveted title of 10th World Supermodel Pageant 2017.

The World Supermodel Pageant India is hosted by Yellow Umbrella. The company got the franchise in 2016 and the contestants have shown great performance and enthusiasm to carry forward the pageant. The country is all set to find its next delegate, who will represent at an international level in the 10th World Supermodel Contest. It will be held in Macau, on an Asian theme, and the pageant will go on along with the International Fashion Week in May’2017.

Are you the one who can take India at the next level in the international pageant? Then, get ready! The organisation is currently looking for applications for two titles, Teen SuperModel 2017 which is open for young girls aged 16 to 19 for the teen title and Supermodel India 2017, for single as well as married women (yes! you read that right) between 20 to 30 years of age.

The National Director of World Supermodel Pageant India, Sudha Subramanian, believes that this pageant will reinvent pageantry by making participation easier and open for every girl and woman who aspires for it. She further added that the winners will be “two Indian delegates who will personify beauty, right attitude with a blend of intelligence and confidence. They will be the reflection of feminism.”

The applicants will first go through online screening, after which the shortlisted candidates will be judged on their performances in several virtual rounds. Public polls as well as a panel of judges will mark the performances and the contestants will go on without elimination until the grand finale. The coronation of one of the lucky teens and one beautiful woman will take place in March 2017, just few months before the international pageant where the winners are expected to represent.
