Xuejiao Chen, China’s representation in Miss Grand International 2017 is definitely one of the contestants in our favourites to look out for in this international pageant.

With a towering height of 180 cm, and weighing 56 kg, Xuejiao maintains a curvy figure of 35-24-36. When the reigning queen is not wearing a crown, she is a yoga teacher and teaches yoga and belly dancing classes in downtown Shanghai.  While preparing for the pageant, she likes to indulge in reading and music to release some stress from her hectic schedule. Dancing and cooking are also some of the activities she enjoys in her free time.

An independent woman at heart, Xuejiao cherishes her freedom to live independently in Shanghai. But that has not stopped her from understanding the value of family and their love. While growing up, her family gave her immense love and supported her in all her decision in life.

Grabbing attention from many during the welcome ceremony of Miss Grand International, the tall lady was dressed in a gown symbolizing Chinese flag. While in National Costume Round looking like a fire goddess, she decked up in a Qi Pao, a traditional Chinese costume of her native Shanghai women during the 40s.

Talking about 'Stop the War and Violence' campaign, the beauty said,

‘My country suffered a great loss in last century with the invasion of foreign troops. 35 million lives were killed during that period. The national average age was just over 30. Now we live a longer, richer, and happier life after peace was finally brought by the liberation army. I believe war can be stopped if we leave greed and lust behind. Let's start a clean future by learning to respect each other.’

Recently turned 27 years of age on 2nd October, the beauty considers this as a good sign for a new beginning. Her ultimate goal is to always become a better version of herself.

Miss Grand International 2016, Ariska Putri Pertiwi, one of the judges in Miss China 2017 along with the President of Miss Grand International Organisation, Mr Nawat Itsaragrisil crowned lovely Xuejiao Chen at her coronation ceremony.

The sizzling yoga instructor stands as one of the tallest among the other contestants in Miss Grand International. She has the looks, charm and attitude to take her far in the competition and probably win it too. Do you agree?
