Femina Miss India 2017 pageant was held on 25th June 2017 at the Yashraj Studio, Mumbai. At the conclusion of the finale, Manushi Chhillar from Haryana was crowned as the winner. At the same pageant, Sana Dua from Jammu & Kashmir was adjudged the first runner-up, and Priyanka Kumari from Bihar was announced as the second runner-up.
In its 54th year, fbb Colors Femina Miss India toured across 30 states, further segregated into two categories, State Auditions and State Crowning in Each Zone. Another change that was interestingly noticeable was that the Femina Miss India Organisation waved off the Bikini round for audition. The organisation had also brought down the height criteria to 5.5” and above.

Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that selects representatives to compete at international pageants like Miss World, Miss International and Miss United Continents. The Miss India pageant is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. From 1964 to 1975 the winner of Miss India was sent to Miss Universe and a runner-up was sent to Miss Asia Pacific. Later in 1976, Miss India got the franchise of Miss World and three winners were chosen to represent India at Miss Universe, Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific.
