Miss Polonia 2014 is the 85th edition of the prestigious national beauty pageant. Miss Polonia 2014 winner will represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2015 beauty pageant. The runners up of Miss Polonia 2014 will represent their country at the Miss Earth 2015 and Miss International 2015 respectively.
A total of twenty five beautiful Polish girls will be competing to win the coveted crown. These contestants have been selected after several rounds of intense scrutiny. Miss Polonia 2014 winner will be selected on the basis of the votes of experienced Jury members and popular voting by the viewers of Polish Public Television (TVP2) through SMS voting.

The winner of Miss Polonia will get various prizes such as a brand new car, but the ultimate prize will be the opportunity to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2015.
The Miss Polonia was scheduled to be held on December 20 2014, but as per the statement posted on popular social networking site Facebook, Miss Polonia official page, the pageant will be postponed and will be held in the first months of 2015. The official facebook page of Miss Polonia briefly explained the cause of delay; the statement said that unfortunately, in spite of the advance preparations and the huge contribution of the entire team making up the contest Miss Polonia, finale may not take place at the scheduled date of December 20. It further added that the final gala which was to be held to chose Miss Polonia 2014 may be held in first months of 2015. The reason for this delay has been stated as the resignation of the Director of the gala, six weeks before the date of broadcast. Keeping in mind the extremely difficult situation the office of Miss Polonia along with involved sponsors are putting in all the efforts to broadcast the event as soon as possible.

The final event will be a spectacular gala event in which the top 10 finalists will showcase the collections of eminent Polish designers.
Paulina Krupinska, Miss Polonia 2012 is expected to crown the Miss Polonia 2014. The reigning Miss Polonia is Marcela Chmielowska, she will be representing Poland at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. Marcela was the first runner-up at Miss Polonia 2011 and was appointed to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2014 because Miss Polonia 2014 was initially postponed till December 6th 2014 and a decent representative from amongst previous pageant winners was appointed to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2014
