Miss Mundo Nicaragua (also known as Miss World Nicaragua) is an annual national pageant held in Nicaragua to select representative for the Miss World pageant. The Miss Mundo Nicaragua organisation aims at selecting delegates who can represent the country on an international platform and at the same time should take up the responsibilities and duties as the Miss Mundo Nicaragua.

The Miss Mundo Nicaragua organisation is led by Denis Martin Davila and the pageant supports in bringing up the new talents. Nicaragua has had a sluggish record at the Miss World pageant. Back in 1968, under the representation of Margine Davidson, Nicaragua was placed as the sixth runner-up. The country’s second placement was in the year 2001, under the representation of Ligia Argüello Roa. Ligia managed to bag the title of third runner-up with a Special Award of Queen of Americas.

Yumara López Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2014 represented Nicaragua at the Miss World 2014 pageant, but remained unplaced.

Stefania Alemán was crowned Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2015 at the pageant held on October 4’ 2014. Stefania will mow represent Nucaragua at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held on December 19’ 2015 in Sanya, China.
