Miss United Continents (or Miss Continentes Unido) is an international beauty contest held annually since 2013. Prior to 2013, the pageant was a regional pageant and was known as Miss American Continent (or Miss Continente Americano), as the participation was restricted to the countries in America. In 2013, the contest was renewed as an international pageant, with name changed to Miss United Continents.
Miss United Continent is organized by the Municipality of Guayaquil and Gama TV, one of the largest in the country, which also organizes the event Miss Ecuador under the management of María del Carmen de Aguayo.
The latest edition of Miss United Continents was held on September 13, 2014 in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador,at the conclusion of the event Geisha Montes de Oca from Dominican Republic was crowned the winner of Miss United Continents 2014.
The first edition of the Miss United Continents was held on September 14' 2013 in Guayaquil, Ecuador, when Carolina Aguirre from Ecuador was crowned as the first ever Miss United Continents. The Vice Queen was Purva Rana from India. Remaining Top 6 were María Belén Jérez (Chile), Sherine Dandoy (Belgium), Camila Vezzoso García (Uruguay), and María Gabrielle Sealy Rivera (Panama).
