Asha Bhat represented India at Miss Supranational 2014 and was crowned on 5th December 2014 at the Civic Center Sports and Recreation Krynica in Poland. She was the first representative from India to win the title. She works as a model and an actress who is also a social activist and runs her own NGO named, ‘Astra Foundation’.

The diva enrolled for National Cadet Corps while studying at the Alvas College and was selected to participate in the Republic Day Camp. She was a member of National Cadet Corps delegation from SAARC nations and visited Sri Lanka Military Academy and won all-rounder award in the year 2009, awarded by the president of Sri Lanka, Mahinda Rajapaksa. Later, she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering at the R.V. College of Engineering. “There is a wrong notion prevailing among a section of society that beauty pageants are all about glamour. My parents used to tell that emphasis should not be given for external appearance, but to keep the heart and soul unpolluted. Beautiful person is one who is compassionate and has firm belief in the path of righteousness,” she said.
