Andrea Meza was crowned Mexicana Universal 2020 on 29th November 2020 and is representing Mexico at Miss Universe 2020. She succeeded Mexicana Universal 2019 Sofia Aragon who was adjudged as the second runner-up at the end of Miss Universe 2019 finale.
Andrea firmly believes in the empowerment of women, which is why she excelled at various academic, human, and professional levels. She is an activist, focused on women's rights and inclusion and currently works closely with the Municipal Institute for Women, which aims to end gender violence. She is a strong contestant at Miss Universe 2020 competition as she has showcased every quality of a Miss Universe queen.
