Jessy Gantle - Age: 23 Years, Height: 165 cm
This Iban-Bidayuh beauty from Kapit, Sarawak grew up in a rural area, which has helped shape her into a strong and resilient individual. An aspiring model, she has won several local pageants in her home state. Describing herself as a person who is committed to the things that she does, she is persistent when it comes to achieving what she has set out to accomplish. As such, she hopes that she can be a good role model to the young women in her community. Her dream is to travel the world and set up her own modelling agency someday. If she wins this title, she would like to bring awareness to her native heritage, and draw attention to the plight of her people living in rural areas of Sarawak, especially in Kapit. Working with NGOs, she wants to help improve the infrastructure, transportation, education and internet access of her home state, and bring modernisation to rural parts of Sarawak.
