CORRIGENDUM- Khadija Ben Homou Miss World Algeria 2019 who was supposed to represent Algeria at Miss World 2019 will now not be competing in the competition for the title of Miss World 2019 for unknown reasons.
Khadija Ben Hamouwas elected Miss World Algeria 2019, becoming the second black woman to ever win the annual beauty pageant after Nassima Mokadem in 2005.
The newly-minted Miss Algeria hails from Adrar, the second largest province in the country and which is situated around the Sahara Desert. Though her well-deserved victory received support from many, her coronation resulted in a barrage of racial abuse from trolls on social media targeting her for her appearance. But despite of everything happened, the stunningly beautiful Khadija Ben Hamou very well stood up on the ground and won the beauty pageant with excellence and grace.
