Rosanna Davison, the daughter of rock star Chris de Burgh, became the first Miss Ireland to win the Miss World title. Rosanna was 19 when she got crowned as Miss World 2003. During Davison's reign, she travelled to the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, China, Sri Lanka, Germany, Poland and her native Ireland. 'I am amazed. I didn't see it coming. It is an absolute shock. Hello to everyone in Ireland. Thanks for your support. I could see dad was nervous before the results. Thanks to the girls, the miss world organisation, and the china government for the amazing trip. I hope I can give it all back,' said Rossana after winning the title.
