The 2005 edition of Miss World was won by the beautiful lady from Iceland, Unnur Birna. Before Unnur, three Icelandic women had won the Miss World title - Gudrún Bjarnadóttir in 1963, Hólmfrídur Karlsdóttir in 1985 and Linda Pétursdóttir 1989. She is the chairman of the college social club and teaches dance. She enjoys acting, singing, all types of dancing, snow-boarding, hiking, camping, horsemanship and has a special talent for choreography and playing the piano.
