Miss Grand International is an annual international beauty pageant held since 2013 and is organized by Miss Grand International Organization based in Thailand. In a short span of time, the MGI pageant has established a grand name for itself in the world of beauty pageants because of its organized pageant format.

The ideal objective is an end to all forms of violence and hostility for the sake of the children and the generations to follow. The organization functions on the objective of domestically and internationally ridding the world of conflict and focus the efforts on improving the quality of life for all humanity.

Being a fairly new pageant, no country holds dominance in the pageant till now; Australia, Cuba, Indonesia, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic all hold a title under their belt respectively.

In 2015, Anea Garcia resigned her title after claiming she was assaulted while on a mission trip to South Sudan and that the organization had provided inadequate chaperoning. Claire Elizabeth Parker was then crowned Miss Grand International 2015. Unfortunately, just a few weeks ago, Claire Elizabeth was also dethroned after she decided to participate in her country’s national pageant, Miss Universe Australia 2019.
