Miss World is among the Big 4 pageants, and the best thing about the pageant is its Beauty with a Purpose project. While the winner has to travel around the world to fulfil her duties and work on the projects, each national delegate too works dedicatedly on their respective projects.

One such contestant who is on her mission to the Beauty with a Purpose is Miss World Bahamas 2016 Ashley Hamilton. Ashley started off the year on a positive note by donating money to the hurricane victims as part of her Beauty with a Purpose project. The beauty recently presented a cheque to the Director of Chickcharney Children Organisation, Ambika Cooper. Chickcharney Children is an organisation that works for the betterment of life of the children of Andros following the passage of Hurricane Matthew.

Ambika Cooper also expressed her gratitude towards Ashley for the donation. She said that the money will help rebuild Andros, devasted from the Hurricane. In November 2016, Ashley hosted a concert to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Matthew, and has also donated funds to Grand Bahama United.

Ashley who hails from Long Island stands tall at an astounding height of 6’1”. The green eyes beauty has a bachelor’s degree in history. Ashley put herself through school by applying for and being granted scholarship and the beauty is really proud of the fact. Ahsley studied at United World College in Western Canada and then went to the University of Florida. She aspires to become a leading commercial Attorney and productive citizen. She likes modelling and enjoys travelling and researching about new cultures.  She is a foodie and enjoys different cuisines, and her favourite foods are hummus, sushi and tabbouleh.

The beauty queen has been working hard on her project, and it’s good to see the contestants dedicating their time to the cause with all their heart. What do you think?
