Australia’s splendid performance in the major beauty pageants in 2017

For Australia, 2017 came as a boon as the country placed on the top list in almost all the major international pageants. Where Miss World Australia 2017 Esma Voloder, unfortunately, could not place in the semifinals which broke its 6-year record, Miss Earth Australia 2017 Nina Robertson brought home the elemental crown – Air and made her country proud.

Let us take a look at the spectacular performances of these Australian divas in 2017 –

Amber Dew in Miss International 2017 – 3rd runner-up

Amber Dew was introduced to the world of pageantry in the most peculiar way; she was recognized by a modelling firm on social media when she was a teenager and represented her country in Miss Charity Queen. Since then, there has been no looking back for the 21-year-old beautiful diva.

Amber Drew emerged victorious in Miss International Australia 2017 which gave her a chance to represent her country in Miss International 2017 in Japan last year. Even though Amber did not win the esteemed competition, she still performed exceedingly well and was announced the 3rd runner-up. Her elegant personality and dazzling smile has caught everyone’s attention and there is no denying the fact that she one of the most loved faces in Australia.

Nina Robertson in Miss Earth 2017 – Miss Earth Air 2017

Nina Robertson, the 20-year-old half- Filipino Australian beauty, represented her beautiful country in Miss Earth 2017. Being the youngest child in the family, Nina has always been her mother’s favourite which she gushed about on the finale night. She won the title of Miss Earth Air 2017 as one of the element queens.

Nina has been consistently preaching and promoting nature conservation after she was declared as one of the element queens. She stands 170 cm tall and is a Bachelor of Science Freshman student at the University of Melbourne.

 

 

Alecia McCallum in Miss Supranational 2017 – Top 25

Alecia McCallum, the 21-year-old model and dancer, is not new to the world of pageantry; she represented Australia in Miss Tourism World 2016 and then went on to become a finalist in Miss Australia in 2017. As the official representative of Australia in Miss Supranational 2017, even though Alecia could not place herself in the semifinals, she definitely won over the hearts of people.

For Australia, Alecia is a shining superstar who is going to bring pride and success for her nation in the coming years with her unexampled personality.

 

 

Kassandra Kashian in Miss Grand International 2017 – Top 20

Kassandra Kashian, the 19-year-old reality-tv star, is a total bombshell who is a seasoned player in the pageant world. She participated in Miss World Australia 2014, with a hope to represent her country in Miss World 2014. Kassandra represented her country in Miss Grand International 2017 last year and placed in the Top 20.

As a trained Latin American and Ballroom dancer, Kassandra has the grace and elegance which is required in any pageant. There is no denying the fact that she can be one of the strongest pageant runners in the future who will be a force to be reckoned with.
