Binibining Pilipinas is arguably the most awaited national pageant of the world since the people of Philippines are so enthusiastic about this pageant. So, if news surfaces that the selection criterion of the applicants has gone a notch stricter than it’s completely understandable.

This year applicants for Binibining Pilipinas 2018 will be facing various interview sessions with the legal team of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI) in order to verify all the requirements including existing contractual obligations. This also means that the selectors will consider any kind of matter that they consider less desirable for the organization.

After this stage, the candidates will be called back for a whole day screening where the organization will further test them on different criterions. The announcement of the official candidates who will make the final cut will be done on 15th January 2018 by the BPCI organization.

Good thing is that there will be no surprise disqualifications since the organization will disclose the selected candidates beforehand only.

So, to sum it up the candidates who will make it to the final screenings are the once who also qualify.

A total of 40 candidates will be appointed at the end of the whole selection procedure who will then battle for the coveted title Miss Universe Philippines 2018 along with other pageants including Binibining Pilipinas-International 2018, Binibining Pilipinas-Intercontinental 2018, Binibining Pilipinas-Supranational 2018, Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International 2018 and Binibining Pilipinas-Globe 2018.
