Crossover delegates at Binibining Pilipinas 2023

Binibining Pilipinas 2023 has begun as 40 candidates have been presented who are going to compete at the national competition. While there are a lot of fresh faces in the 2023 batch, there are a few familiar faces who are crossing over from other local/national pageants this year.

Here are the crossover beauty queens competing for Binibining Pilipinas 2023 –

Miss Universe Philippines

Miss Universe Philippines semi-finalists Mirjan Hipolito and Angelica Lopez have joined this year’s batch.

Miss World Philippines

Six candidates have crossed-over from the Miss World Philippines pageant namely Trisha Martinez Miss Tourism Philippines 2021, Elaiza Dee Alzona and Paulina Labayo from Miss World Philippines 2018, Andrea Marie Sulangi and Lea Macapagal from 2021 aspirants, and Anje Mae Manipol from 2022.

Miss Philippines Earth

Miss Philippines Earth titleholders are also in the batch lineup; Sofia Lopez Galve Miss Philippines Ecotourism 2021, Gianna Margarita Llanes Miss Philippines Water 2020, and Kiaragiel Gregorio Miss Philippines Air 2016 have joined this year.

Mutya ng Pilipinas

Katrina Mae Sese and Allhia Charmaine Estores from the Mutya ng Pilipinas ‘Golden’ batch of 2018 have also joined the Binibining Pilipinas 2023 batch.

National Titleholders

The reigning Miss Bikini Philippines Zeah Nestle Pala has joined the 2023 edition while Miss Lumiere International World Philippines Julia Mae Mendoza, Miss Silka Katrina Anne Johnson, and Yesley Cabano who won in the reality TV show ‘Pinay Beauty Queen Academy’ in 2015 and represented the Philippines in the Miss Bikini Universe contest in the same year have decided to give the national pageant a go as well.

The reigning queens from the provinces have also transitioned to the national stage – Miss Bicolandia Rheema Adakkoden, Miss Batangas International Paola Allison Araño, Bb. GenTri Alasha Reign Parani, Miss Iloilo Binibini Tracy Lois Bedua, and Miss Cagayan de Oro Pilipinas April Angelu Barro.

Anna Valencia Lakrini from Bataan is the only returnee in this year’s competition who finished in the Top 12 in Binibining Pilipinas 2022.

Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2022 Chelsea Fernandez, Binibining Pilipinas International 2022 Nicole Borromeo will crown their successors at the end of the event finale. The coronation night is tentatively scheduled in May and will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum at the Araneta City in Quezon City.
