The Miss Universe Malaysia Organization has released a statement informing that Carey Ng has resigned from her position as National Director.
Carey Ng, who was crowned Miss Universe Malaysia 2013, took over the role in 2014 and was responsible for sending Sabrina Beneett and Vanessa Tevi Kumares to the Miss Universe Pageant in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Shortly before she stepped down from her post, Ng was able to produce Malaysia's 2016 representative to the pageant, Kiran Jassal.

First took on the appointment of National Director in 2014 shortly after her reign as Miss Universe Malaysia 2013, she has helped prepare both Sabrina Beneett for Miss Universe 2014 and Venessa Tevi Kumares for Miss Universe 2015. Following months of training, coaching and guidance, both queens succeeded in creating a lasting impression on the global stage. Without a doubt, Carey Ng raised to the challenge at a young age to learn about the business and also crafted plans for the next generation of girls.” - MUMO
Her contribution has been instrumental in shaping the young girls of Malaysia into confidently beautiful individuals. The lady also oversaw the journey of 14 finalists, which led to the crowning of the current Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 Kiran Jassal.
The Miss Universe Malasia Organisation released a statement announcing that it is sad that Carey Ng bids Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation goodbye. She leaves the organization to pursue her personal ventures. But, she says she would have liked to continue sharing her know-how in mentoring the new Miss Universe Malaysia 2016, Kiran Jassal. She is nonetheless confident that Kiran will be in very good hands being guided by the new National Director, whosoever comes. Carey also wishes the new National Director the very best in taking over the reigns.
