At the conclusion of the splendid finale of Puteri Indonesia 2015, held last night at the Jakarta Convention Cente, Chintya Fabyola, who is 20-years of age and hails from Kalimantan Barat, was adjudged the First Runner-up. She was awarded the title of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2015 (or Miss International Indonesia 2015), and will go on to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2015 pageant, to be held in Tokyo, Japan on November 5th, 2015.
At the same event, Anindya Kusuma Putri from Jawa Tengah was crowned as the winner of Puteri Indonesia 2015 or Miss Universe Indonesia 2015 and Gresya Amanda Maaliwuga from Sulawesi Utara was crowned Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata 2015 or Miss Supranational Indonesia 2015.
Chintya Fabyola, born on February 10th, 1995, is a student of Business Administration and loves to read and play different sports. She has now stepped into the shoes of the previous year winner, Elfin Pertiwi Rappa, taking forward her reign.
Chintya's predecessor, the 19-years old Elfin Pertiwi Rappa, who won the title of Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2014, last year, successfully represented Indonesia at the Miss International 2014 pageant. She was placed among the Top 10 finalists and also won the Special Award for Best National Costume.
Given stupendous performance of Elfin during her reign and at Miss International 2014 pageant, fans from Indonesia will also have high expectations from her successor Chintya Fabyola. As the title and eminence of representing the country on an international level has been passed on by Elfin to her successor Chintya, will Chintya be able to sustain and maintain the opulence and glory that her forerunner earned?
