Deborah van Hemert crowned as Miss Earth Netherlands 2016

Deborah van Hemert has been crowned as Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 at the culmination of the eminent beauty pageant held on 5’ June 2016 in Netherlands. The winner, Deborah van Hemert has officially earned the right to represent Netherlands at the upcoming Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

Deborah van Hemert was crowned by her predecessor Miss Earth Netherlands 2015, Leena Asarfi.

20-years-old Deborah van Hemert hails from Heinkenszand (Zeeland). She  is half Dutch and half Indonesian as her mother is of Indonesian descent. Hence, she grew up learning two cultures and is very proud of her roots. Deborah holds a degree in beautician and has worked as a professional beautician at a renowned spa, and now the beauty queen owns her own beauty salon. Being a professional beautician, she always loves to keep herself groomed.

Possessing a sweet and friendly nature, the beauty loves to help needy people. Deborah is a pageant veteran as she has already won two coveted beauty titles - one is Miss Beauty of Zeeland in 2015 held in October, and another one is Miss Organic Tan 2015/2016.

'12 Months of Beauty', which is the franchise holder of the Miss Earth Netherlands pageant had selected a total number of 4 delegates who represented all four parts of Netherlands (North, East, West and South) at the Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 pageant.

Miss Earth Netherlands North 2016: Farah Qureshi is 22 years old and hails from Buitenpost, Friesland.

Miss Earth Netherlands East 2016: Lauraine van der Werff is 24 years old and hails from Emmen, Drenthe.

Miss Earth Netherlands West 2016: Larissa de Bruin is 22 years old and hails from Rockanje, Zuid-Holland.

Miss Earth Netherlands South 2016: Deborah van Hemert is 20 years old and she is from Heinkenszand, Zeeland.
