The beautiful Do My Linh from Hanoi has been appointed as the representative of Vietnam for Miss World 2017. The announcement was made yesterday at a press conference held by the Miss World Vietnam franchise holder for Miss World Vietnam. She will now travel to China to compete in the finals of Miss World 2017 in November 2017.

Do My Linh is 21 years of age and stands tall at 171 cm. She is a student in Hanoi Foreign Trade University. Last year, she was crowned as Miss Vietnam 2016 defeating thirty-nine other finalists competing for the title. Prior to that, she had also competed in Miss Universe Vietnam 2016, where she finished amongst the Top 15 finalists.
Vietnam has a good share of achievements in Miss World pageant but has never won a Miss World crown so far. In 2014, Loan Nguyen Thi managed to place amongst the final 25 in Miss World 2014 and in 2015, Truong Thi Dieu Ngoc secured a Top 11 spot in Miss World 2015.
Now, all eyes are on the gorgeous Do My Linh, and Vietnamese fans will be hoping for her to get the first Miss World title for their country.
