Miss World New Zealand is ready to crown its new queen for the year 2018. Miss World New Zealand 2017 Annie Evans will be crowning her successor, Miss New Zealand 2018.
All the contestants are strong and giving tough competition to each other. It is going to be quite complex for the judges to choose the leading lady out of the finalists. The finalists are gearing up for the event by participating in various events and activities.
The finalists were also recently present at a rehearsal for Miss World New Zealand 2018. They attended a presenting session with Paulus, which included practice interviews, being filmed talking about a topic, improvisation and charades.

The website of Miss World New Zealand announced that the finale would be held Saturday, 5th MAY 2018 at Sky City Convention Centre. Challenges winners, subsidiary titles & special awards will be awarded on the gala night itself. The winners and subsidiary titles will include, crowning of Miss NEW ZEALAND 2018, Runners Up, and other National Titles.
New Zealand has contested 46 Miss World pageants since the pageant's inception in 1951. No New Zealander has won the Miss World title, although two have placed first runner-up.
The current reigning Miss World New Zealand 2017 Annie Evans placed in the Top 40 at Miss World 2018, Top 20 at Beauty with a Purpose, and Top 24 at Miss World Sport. She won the title of Miss Oceania.
