Nông Thúy Hằng to represent Vietnam at Miss Earth 2023

Hoa hau các Dân toc Viet Nam 2022 (Miss Ethnicity Vietnam 2022) was held on 16th July 2022 in Ho Chi Minh City where Nông Thúy Hang was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Vietnam at Miss Earth 2023.

The newly crowned Nông Thúy Hang received a crown set with 54 pearls worth 3 billion VND, an award of 300 million VND and other awards. Nong hailed from northern Hà Giang Province and a graduate of the National University of Economics.

 

 

Nông Thuy Hang was asked about what she hopes the world appreciates most about Vietnam, to which she replied, "I wish to present to the world the image of a Vietnam so rich in identity, love and humanity. If the Vietnamese are often known for their heroism and their sacrifice for the nation, they also come from 54 ethnic groups with similar identities.”

Long Beach Pearl founder Mrs. Bui Thi My Canh and President Truong Ngoc Anh presented the crown to the newly crowned queen. Also present at the finale were Miss Earth 2020 Lindsey Coffey and Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner, looking their absolute stunning self.

 

 

Also, at the end of the event finale, Luong Tha Hoa Dan was adjudged the first runner-up while Thach Thu Thao was adjudged as the second runner-up. Top 5 also included Nguyen Hong Diem and Nguyen Thao Lien.
