The scintillating finale of the sixth Supermodel International 2016 culminated with the crowning of Josephine Tan from Malaysia as the winner. Josephine defeated 29 other beautiful contestants to clinch the coveted title. She was crowned by the outgoing queen, Alexendara Arboleda of Colombia.
At the same event, Alisa Manenok from Russia was adjudged first runner up, Julia Pikkarainen from Finland was titled as second runner-up, Marina Dokic from Serbia was titled third runner up, while Divya Saini from India finished as fourth runner-up.
The Supermodel International contest started with the Preliminary Competitons – Evening Gown and Swimsuit. After the Prelims, a series of Special Awards were also awarded to the following contestants under the categories –

Miss Photogenic: Alisa Manenok from Russia
Best in Gown: Zue Nge from Myanmar
Best in Swimsuit: Kuralay Zakarina from Kazakhstan

Best Talent: Leila Aigbedion from Netherlands
Miss Charity: Hanna Prohorchik from Belarus
Best National Costume: Windy Yolanda Amran from Indonesia
1st runner-up: Khanyala Yolchileva from Caucasus
2nd runner-up: Wenying Chen from China

The 30 contestants participated in a model boot camp where their journey of transformation from aspiring hopefuls to a “SUPERMODEL” began. This camp was culminated into the World Final, judged by fashion industry experts and insiders, during which the contestants competed to become Miss Supermodel International.
Supermodel International is an international modelling contest, established by Pradit Pradinunt in the year 2010. It is a leading international pageant that promotes cultural union by integrating, female beauty, talents and cultural communication. Supermodel International radiates the essence of the international cultural and fashion trends.
It was the very first time, when the Supermodel International contest is being held in India. The sixth edition of the event culminated with a bang, and each round was praised by the audiences as well.
