Chanel’s collection has always been the highlight of Paris Fashion Week and this year, more so, it was another moment of emotional goodbyes as Karl Lagerfeld’s last collection was showcased at the show. Karl Lagerfeld, who passed away on 19th February 2019, was the creative director of Chanel and other luxury brands such as Fendi. The Grand Palais in Paris was the location for Lagerfeld's last show.

While the Fashion World said goodbye to the icon, in true Chanel fashion, the set has a spectacular backdrop with bright blue skies giving way to a ski resort complete with snow and 12 Alpine chalets. The collection showcased moonboots, goggles and sports jackets along with two pieces, fur coats and gorgeous feather dresses.

Renowned models such as Kaia Gerber, Cara Delevingne, Penelope Cruz set the ramp on fire with their exuberant walks as they bid an emotional goodbye to the creative director. The front row had big names such as Anna Wintour, Janelle Monae, Kristen Stewart and Naomi Campbell in attendance that enjoyed the show with huge smiles on their faces.

The mood was somber during a minute's silence, though some guests couldn't resist taking selfies against the impressive set of the show.  Here are a few more shots from the gorgeous event –
