26 year old Lizzy Olsen was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA 2015 and will now represent DC at Miss USA 2015. The 5’10 tall Olsen was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. “I know it sounds very strange, but I had a normal and wonderful childhood, thanks in large part to my parents. They are both incredibly smart, successful, and undeniably funny people; a formidable pair who instilled tremendous drive in me” says Lizzy.
Olsen was born in Las Vegas and is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City University School of Law.After graduating from law school, Lizzy Olsen moved to Washington D.C. She is currently the Majority Director of Operations for the Senate Committee of Environment and Public Works. Lizzy loves travelling and has travelled to 44 states, and nearly 10 countries.
When not working, Lizzy is often occupied with modelling. She has been featured in numerous print campaigns and runway shows, and graced the catwalk during Fashion Week. Lizzy spends her free time running, volunteering, painting, and cooking but she loves nothing more than bonding with her family, friends and spending time with her cat named Bunny. She has been a part of glamorous and glitzy world of pageants and was a semi-finalist at Miss Oklahoma USA 2014.
