Standing at a prominent height of 180 cm, María weighs 55 kg and maintains a pleasing figure of 35-24-35. She can speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently, and is also learning Italian. She loves to dance salsa since an early age as a family tradition.

Born in Lima, her family moved to Huanchaco, a beach in the north of Perú when she was just two. Her father being a fisherman, she describes her childhood as the best, when she enjoyed staying in the ocean all the time with her brother and three sisters. Born in a huge family, her traditional roots are very strong and the core values she received from her family has made her achieve so much in life. Even after moving to Florida at the age of 10 years, she claims to have kept her Peruvian roots alive in her heart.
