Miss Universe Canada 2019 is all set to crown its new queen in August where fifty-five scintillating beauties will compete for the national crown and gain the opportunity to represent Canada in Miss Universe 2019. Miss Universe Canada 2018 Marta Magdalena Stepien will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

Mattea Henderson who is one of the finalists of Miss Universe Canada 2019 introduced her humanitarian project via Miss Universe Canada. The title of Miss Universe Canada involves working with one of their official charities. This diva has joined hands with Operation Smile as her humanitarian project. Operation Smile believes that every child suffering from cleft lip or cleft palate deserves exceptional surgical care.

Rather than having a simple fund raising event, Mattea with the help of her Marketing and International Business background was able to create a campaign called ‘One Smile At A Time’. This diva issued a challenge to the people of Calagary and surrounding communities of Alberta to donate a smile i.e.
