The prestigious Miss Universe Albania 2017 is slated to be held on 29th June 2017 Tirana. The contestants for the pageant have been declared. Lindita Idrizi was crowned as Miss Universe Albania 2016 at the end of Miss Universe Albania 2016 pageant held on June 2’ 2016 at Revista Who, in Tirana, Albania. She will now crown her successor at the finale night of Miss Universe Albania 2017. All of us are waiting for the finale night and the contestants to take on the show this June.
Miss Universe Albania is an annual national beauty pageant that selects representatives to the Miss Universe pageant. The Miss Universe Albania pageant was established in the year 2006 in Tirana, Albania. 19 gorgeous contestants are vying for the coveted title this year. Owned by the celebrated Albanian-American fashion photographer, Fadil Berisha, the Miss Universe Albania pageant was established in the year 2006 in Tirana, Albania. And the pageant is not related to Miss Albania, Miss Shqipëria or Miss Shqiptarja.
The first Albanian delegate to represent at the Miss Universe pageant was Anisa Kospiri, who ended up as one of the top 10 finalists at the Miss Universe 2002. Until 2010, she held the record of the highest placing Albanian candidate in the Miss Universe pageant. In 2010, an absolutely stunning Angela Martini cracked the Top 10. The famous Fashion Photographer and Miss Universe Organization Official Photographer Fadil Berisha is the National Director of the Miss Universe Albania pageant.
