The second edition of Mexicana Universal i.e. Mexicana Universal 2019 is on the verge of crowning its new queen as the finale of the pageant is just a few weeks away, when all the charming Mexican delegates will represent their respective provinces and the reigning Mexicana Universal queen Andrea Toscano will crown her successor, who will then take over the responsibilities and advocacies along with the crown, at the conclusion of the finale.

Since all the delegates are officially confirmed, we introduce you to another twinkling diva María Eugenia Nava del Río.

At the event held on 24th November 2018 in the Itzimná park, the director of Mexicana Universal Lupita Jones appointed María as the new representative of the province. She was handed over the crown by the outgoing queen Mexicana Universal Yucatán 2017 Ana Paola de Anda at the conclusion of the event. Therefore, she earned this golden opportunity to represent the province in Mexicana Universal 2019 pageant.

The 22-year-old gleaming beauty, who stands 178 cm tall, hails originally from Mexico City. She is studying the 6th semester of the Industrial Design Degree from Anahuac University. Besides this, the beauty represented Mexico in the World Rhythmic Gymnastics in Germany, in the Pan American Games, the Pre-American Games, in several World Cups and in three World Gymnastics Championships.

Around three years ago, when she received the invitation from the coordination of the contest to participate in casting, she ignored it and never bothered to enter the pageant world. By then she was focused on rhythmic gymnastics, that led her to be part of the national team and participate in a Pan-American where she won the third place with her team in a Pre-American. After a long hold-up, she entered pageantry and now is climbing the ladder of success gradually.

The glistening diva loves to dream big and one of such dreams is to create designs that help facilitate the quality of life of others and to be able to win the crown of Mexicana Universal in order to raise awareness of their culture and the values ?? that all Mexicans have. With such a divine thought, she will definitely win millions of hearts in the pageant.
