Mexicana Universal 2020 will be the 3rd edition of the Mexicana Universal pageant. Thirty-two candidates from all over the Mexican Republic will compete for the national title. Sofía Aragón of Jalisco will crown her successor at end of the event. The winner will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 pageant.

Griselda Garzón Quiroz was crowned Mexicana Universal Hidalgo 2019 on 26th February 2020 and will be representing the city of Hidalgo at Mexicana Universal 2020. Griselda originally from Pachuca is 25-years-old and stands 171cm tall. She has graduated with a degree in Bachelors in International Trade and Customs and later studied English at the University of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio Texas. She was crowned by Mexicana Universal Hidalgo 2018 Marili Vázquez by the end of the event.

Griselda is very confident and strong headed woman who wishes to represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 pageant. For that she has started her preparations with working on her English, arduous physical, dermatological, nutritional preparation, as well as acting and driving.

The diva is extremely excited to represent the province Hidalgo at the stage of Mexicana Universal 2020. She strongly believes that beauty queens must be disciplined, hardworking and persistent, commented later to win the contest and become the representative of the State. She has also expressed her gratitude towards her family and friends for helping her and motivating her to pursue her dreams.

Griselda has worked with few designers and photographers and has gained her share of experience in the pageantry but now participating in the national pageant has given her the confidence and strength. She would like to use the platform of Mexicana Universal 2020 to advocate about how much hard work and dedication is helpful in achieving the dreams. She would like to reach out to people especially young women who are dealing with low self-confidence and are not sure about how they want to pursue their lives. The diva would like to be a role model and share her experience with them to help them gain confidence and much needed upliftment.

Griselda has been very self-assured about her skills and abilities for representing Mexico at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She will be working on her on-stage walk, body language, postures and interview skills to ace the competition. She is passionate about makeup and fashion which holds a great significant in the beauty pageant world and can work as an advantage for the diva. She can be a tough competition.
