In the event finale held on 10th February 2018 in Alamos, Brenda Vargas was crowned Mexicana Universal Sonora 2017. Brenda is all set to represent Sonora at the upcoming Mexicana Universal 2018.
From Hermosillo, Brenda is a 24-year-old Industrial Engineer. Standing 176 cm tall, Brenda performed brilliantly at the finale night and took home the well-deserved crown.
Miss Universe Mexico 2016 Kristal Silva was the driving force for the finalists of the competition who helped them with her sincere advice. On the finale night, Kristal dazzled in a sheer black gown, looking ever so beautiful.

The National Director of Mexicana Universal Lupita Jones graced the finale night of Mexicana Universal Sonora 2017 and crowned the dazzling diva. Mariela López Antillón was awarded the second place the finale night.
Right after her coronation, Brenda began her official duties and was seen with the National Director Lupita Jones giving an interview to Tv Azteca, Sonora.
