Just a couple of hours after Mireia Lalaguna was crowned as Miss World Spain 2015, the beauty is hooked on with an age controversy. Yes, she is just 15 years old and the criteria of Miss World age lies between 17-24. Now the question is, how could Miss Mundo Spain Organization crown a juvenile??
However, Miss Mundo Spain organization claimed that Mireia is actually 23-years-old. Her age details on the official Miss World Spain website is way different from what they claim. The page shows her age to be 15 years.
The Miss World Spain organization has been in limelight prior, after it was declared that it has permitted a transsexual to compete in the regional pageants.
However, few even came in defence of the winner and claimed that the Barcelona girl is very much eligible to compete at the Miss World contest to be held in Sanya, China later this year.
The professional model was crowned the Miss World Spain 2015 (Miss Mundo España 2015) at the event which took place at Malaga where 25 other finalists represented various Spanish provinces and competed for the coveted title.
Mireia succeeds Lourdes Rodriguez, Miss World Spain 2014 at the conclusion of the coronation night. No Spanish beauty has ever won the title of Miss World so far.
